Reason 13 to Quit Smoking....

Reason 13: Lack of Professionalism; Let's face it, smoking is not professional. If you're going to interview for a position with Corporate America, or any Fortune 500 Company, you don't want to smell like smoke in your business attire. Many of you smokers carry perfume or body spray in your car so you can spray off the smoke smell, but it doesn't work. Or you smell like a night dancer wearing too much perfume.

I'm not saying that White Collar workers don't smoke because oh boy we do, but it's always behind closed doors or after hours. The best is at social functions; an award ceremony or holiday party where alcohol is involved - many people will smoke and say it's an occasional thing, but don't believe them a bit.

Many of Americans in today's economy are struggling to find work, or find other employment because your current position may be terminated. It may seem that smoking is what will help you get through these stressful times, but don't forget what the physical damage of smoking will do to you, which will decrease your chances of getting that position.
