Reason 20: There are Immediate Health Benefits the second you quit; Almost immediately, a person's circulation begins to improve and the level ofcarbon monoxide in the blood begins to decline. (Carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless gas found in cigarette smoke, reduces the blood's ability to carry oxygen.) A person's pulse rate and blood pressure, which may be abnormally high while smoking, begin to return to normal. Within a few days of quitting, a person's sense of taste and smell return, and breathing becomes increasingly easier.

Reason 19 to Quit Smoking...
Reason 19: Bad Breath; I don't think I need to go into much detail with this one. Smoker's breath is nasty, especially in the summer time when it's hot and smoky breath. Yuck.
Even the Scope and Listerine doesn't work all of the time. Just imagime how much happier your mouth would be if you didn't coat it with cigarette smoke everyday. We'll get into the oral hygiene another time, but for now SMOKERS HAVE BAD BREATH!!!

Reason 18 to Quit Smoking....
Reason 18: Quit Snoring!; Quitting smoking will help you quit snoring, it is as simple as that. "Smoking fills your lungs with tar, which can lead to lung cancer, and it increases your risk of heart disease. Now on top of it, is it dries out your air passage ways, and creates a problem when you are breathing.
The dryness is not the only problem, your lungs have to work harder to breathe, this means trying to suck in more air and to top it all off, your throat will be dry, and will cause vibrations in your breathing. These vibrations are the flesh of your throat and mouth, usually the soft palette, or your uvula. These vibrations make the sounds you hear when you hear snoring." Thanks to ezinearticles.com!
If you're a snorer then you know that it's embarrassing and you feel bad about it when having to sleep around others. Quit smoking and quit snoring for your loved ones and friends so we can all sleep peacefully at night when we forget our ear plugs.Cigalex Today - 1-888-851-9580

Reason 17 to Quit Smoking.....
Reason 17: Less to Carry Around!; This reason may seem silly to some, and definitely won't apply to everyone, but you Ladies out there that carry your purses every where - you don't have to anymore! It's been a huge sigh of relief and not only do I feel like a better person since I've quit smoking and become more active, now I feel like a weight has been lifted since I don't lug my huge bag with me every where I go!
I have found the ability to carry money, ID, debit card, and cell phone in my pockets. And lipstick. It's perfect and now I'm not responsible for everyone's belongings anymore!

Reason 16 to Quit Smoking....
Reason 16: Gain Control of Your Life; If you're addicted to smoking, hopefully you understand that you do not have control of your life. This is one of those topics that many smokers will deny and even argue, but it's true. Smokers do not have control of their life. I didn't agree with that until I finally became a quitter.
Cigarettes control you. You probably have a routine of when you smoke cigarettes, and most likely you've associated with activities with smoking, eg driving in your car. Because you're in a routine, you don't realize how much control it has over you. If you're a smoker, try not to smoke at your regular times and you'll notice that it's very difficult.

Reason 15 to Quit Smoking.....
Reason 15: Making Others Wait on You; Maybe all of your friends and family that you associate with are smokers, but I highly doubt that. I want you to think about the last time you were with any non-smoking friends or family; did they have to wait for you so you could smoke your cigarette? Probably.
I recently had an experience where I went to an indoor event with a big group. It wasn't an event where there was assigned seating so we all had to stick together. Being an ex-smoker, I became annoyed having to wait for the smokers to finish their cigarettes, or even worse, had to take breaks with them during the event.

Reason 14 to Quit Smoking
Reason 14: You lose your sense of taste and smell; I didn't realize as a smoker how much I was missing out on getting the full experience of a nice meal or a nice aroma. I really enjoy going out for a nice meal each week and it's been amazing at how much more I'm enjoying my meals, especially seafood for some reason.
As for smell, I can pick up the little scents here and there that I didn't even know existed. I've noticed it most at nights when I'm walking the dogs, I can smell the bushes and flowers as I walk by them.
